Florida Atlantic University Small Business Development Center will hold the following seminar topics for those thinking about creating a Florida small business. Certified business analyst Ken Stephanz will teach all of the following seminars. Three out of four of these Florida business seminars are free!

Sept. 3,Â â€œHow to Stay Out of Trouble When Starting Your New Businessâ€ from 5 to 7 pm at the Fellsmere Community Center, 56 N. Broadway St. Free.

Sept. 12, â€œMarketing Your Service Businessâ€ 2 to 4 pm at the Treasure Coast campus of FAU in Port St. Lucie. Free.

Sept. 17,Â â€œHow to Write a Business Plan Clinicâ€ from 5 to 9 pm at FAUâ€™s Treasure Coast campus in Port St. Lucie. $50.

Sept. 23, â€œIntroduction to Business Plan,â€ from 5 to 7 p.m. in the conference room at the North County Library in Sebastian. Free.

Attending these free Florida seminars is always a good idea if you have the time. Three out of four are free and I’ve found that I learn something every time I go. Sometimes more than others… but always there is some good information on some topic I haven’t researched thoroughly.
